I Can See The Pines Are Dancing

It's that time again. Summer is winding down and making way for autumn. It's safe to say I've been ready for fall for weeks now, so it should come as no surprise that it took me about five minutes to put this fall wishlist together. This gal knows what she wants.

1. HUNTER Huntress Wellies - $135 It seems to rain on a weekly basis in my area this time of year. I have my Bean Boots for the wet winter months, but they're just a tad too insulated and warm for early fall. These would be the perfect solution to the puddles encountered on my walks home.

2. FILSON Antique Tin Cloth Barn Coat - $195 Filson is known for making high-quality goods to last a lifetime. For a classic like this, that's just what I need. This coat, some jeans, boots, and a good scarf. That's how you do autumn weather.

3. Chemex Drip Coffee Carafe - $40 While I'm not a huge coffee drinker, I have the distinct feeling I'll be needing to become a huge coffee drinker within the next few months. For someone with very little storage, a generic coffeemaker isn't exactly what you want sitting out on your counter. But this guy? I can see this carafe becoming an aesthetically pleasing part of my morning ritual.

4. ELF Handmade Leather Flats - $90 Welp, these are heavenly. The craftsmanship! Can you imagine these with a pair of straight leg jeans, cuffed at the ankle? Pure perfection. I've probably already ordered these by the time you've read this.

5. HERSCHEL Little America Mid-Volume - $85 Like Filson, Herschel makes quality goods. While I'm no longer in school, a backpack would still be a handy thing to have. My bike is nearing its finish so I'll soon be on the road with places to go and things to tote. And maybe if I have a camping-appropriate backpack, someone will take me camping (wishful thinking?).

6. JUNIPER RIDGE Big Sur Room Spray - $24 Wild ginger, burnt honey, salt, and damp ground. You're kidding yourself if you don't want your entire house smelling like this. I mean, come on.

And here's a little musical treat from one of my favorite fellows, to carry you into fall.

The Perfect White Tee

Some girls spend their whole lives seeking out that perfect little black dress. This girl, on the other hand, has been seeking out that perfect white tee...without spending an arm and a leg. Enter Everlane, where dreams come true one tee at a time. Their mission? To supply you with designer tees, minus the designer prices. So, what would be a $100 t-shirt will only run you about $15-30 at Everlane. Available  only online, they've cut out the middle man. I made my first order (I say "first" because there will be more to come, I assure you) about two weeks ago and it arrived only a handful of days later. Excitement ensued. These tees really are designer quality. I can already tell they're going to last me ages (this coming from someone who chronically wears out clothes faster than anyone I know). These sturdy, well-crafted classics will stand the test of time. Don't forget, they've got stuff for the fellas, too, among other things. Like this waitlisted weekender.

I need it. Right now. Now go on, and join here.

A Beautiful Life

Jenni Bryant

Summer, believe it or not, is coming to a close soon enough. Though, maybe not soon enough. These photos of Jenni Bryant by Nico Alary for Kinfolk Magazine, are serving as my inspiration for the transition into fall. Jeans, sandals, and a perfectly brewed cup of coffee.
